SV	Mijn kinderkens, ik schrijf u deze dingen, opdat gij niet zondigt. En indien iemand gezondigd heeft, wij hebben een Voorspraak bij den Vader, Jezus Christus, den Rechtvaardige;

ASV	My little children, these things write I unto you that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
BE	My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may be without sin. And if any man is a sinner, we have a friend and helper with the Father, Jesus Christ, the upright one:

Darby	My children, these things I write to you in order that ye may not sin; and if any one sin, we have a patron with the Father, Jesus Christ [the] righteous;
ELB05	Meine Kinder, ich schreibe euch dieses, auf daß ihr nicht sündiget; und wenn jemand gesündigt hat wir haben einen Sachwalter bei dem Vater, Jesum Christum, den Gerechten.
LSG	Mes petits enfants, je vous écris ces choses, afin que vous ne péchiez point. Et si quelqu'un a péché, nous avons un avocat auprès du Père, Jésus-Christ le juste.

Sch	Meine Kindlein, solches schreibe ich euch, damit ihr nicht sündiget! Und wenn jemand sündigt, so haben wir einen Fürsprecher bei dem Vater, Jesus Christus, den Gerechten;
